This course aims to provide personnel with hands-on knowledge of SCADA systems and their applications. Emphasis will be placed on relating the course material to real world control situations.
It covers the skills and knowledge required by an individual to interact with a System Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system as part of their job and allows Participants to create a SCADA project and set up communications to a PLC.

The purpose of the “Basic SCADA Control System” course is to give the course participant broad general knowledge of process automation involving control, and monitoring systems, and to bring the participant up to date with the latest developments in the field of process automation

• Also after completing the course, the participant will understand the SCADA system’s function and has become thoroughly familiar with terminology and principles so that he/she can help to prepare and review tender documents.
• The course participant will also have a general understanding of a SCADA system’s possibilities of use for process monitoring, alarm handling and access to historical data in means of trend curves.
• The course will also enable the participant to carry out quality control of new installations or modifications of existing systems
